Upper Cumberland folks.. (tossing out an idea & hoping not to step on toes)
Some folks from the Upper Cumberland (Cookeville, Algood, Monterey, Crossville, etc... ) have been meeting at the support group once a month at Cookeville Hospital. Well we want to do a lunch / dinner get together before the end of the month.
We don't want to step on any toes, so, I'm thinking our choices are:
Friday, July 24 @ 6:00pm at Puelo's Grill
OR OR OR OR OR
Saturday, July 25 @ 1:00 at Puelo's Grill
Ya'll can either respond here, or PM me, I'll keep up with the votes through let's say, Thursday, July 16th, then by Friday I'll post what day and time we will try to have our first Upper Cumberland get together.
BTW.. everyone is welcome to drive to the plateau, we are a crazy bunch of folks, but one thing we want to make sure is that EVERYONE feels welcome, no matter if you are pre- or post-op.. and it does NOT matter what surgery you have had or are thinking of having, they are all tools and we all must support each other in learning how to use our tools! (I'll save the rest of my soap box speech until the appropriate time.)
Now, please remember to voice your opinion on which day and time will be best for you!!!

Love it, love it, love it! I vote for Saturday only because dinner time means crowded restaraunts. Somehow I suspect we'll talk more than we eat and I don't want to feel rushed.
Reminds me of when I was interviewing for my job in Cookeville and asked the Human Resources director about the population. He said it's 25,000 in the summer... 35,000 when Tech is in session...and 50,000 at meal times!
Also just came in from Lupper* at Puleo's. Their food is so good. And the menu is on the 'Net so you can can see the wide variety of choices.
*Amy's word for the meal between noon and 6-ish or lunch and supper.
